Atout Capital announces that it has set a target of a rate of 3.1 euros for Newtech Interactive, a specialist in hosting telecom services, that is a potential 28% rise as compared with its last Stock Market quotation.

“An increase in its current rate can only be achieved in our opinion after installation of the SMS platform and the results of the initial applications using this tool,” warns the intermediary in a bulletin published this morning.

Atout Capital emphasizes that the Group is looking to reposition itself in the SMS and Mobility sector and intends disposing of its Minitel business between now and the end of 2006.

“Newtech achieved a net loss of 1.2 million Euros in 2005 due to depreciation of goodwill relating to Audiotel and Minitel, which severaly downgraded its accounts in 2004,” the analyst points out.

“An indication concerning the 1st half-year of 2006 will enable us to validate the relevance of Newtech Interactive’s Business Model within a very competitive environment,” indicates Atout Capital in its research.

Newtech securities’ last rate was 2.39 euros.
